Hi,

I have a system with a hipath 4000 v3 duplex with a sf2x8 card.

I have identified some problems with this board (sf2x8), so i want to connect directly customer lan, iptrunk, sip and hfa to the switch.

I have a connection with a dscxl board with dot dash that connects to sf2x8 board.

my question is how should i make the connection between the remaining dscxl boards?

Thank you.

What are the problems with the Network Card (SF2X8) ?

Customer LAN can go into the Bottom Processor (Dash Dot) into the socket marked Customer

IP trunk goes into an IP Card like STMI

Sometimes STMI with iptrunk configuration and STMI with sip configuration crashed.

For example yesterday I disconnected and plugged the cable and iptrunk was working.

I suspected sf2x8 because I have 3 stmi2 (HFA, IPTRUNK and SIP configuration) connected at this board.

Which connects to a single port on the switch andI want to have a good management for each board in the switch.

STMI cards are to be connected to the customer LAN (if that is where the IP Trunks are)
There are (as you know) 8 customer LAN ports on that card.
However all it is - is an IP Switch.
Plug the Customer LAN into an IP switch like a Netgear or similar - plug the ADS Processor (Bottom Processor) Customer socket into the same IP switch.
Then also plug your STMI cards into that IP switch.
