Hi there,
I´m trying to setup my Hipath 4000 to user Freeswitch as Voicemail server.
To reach the Freeswitch I have a VoIP Gateway connected to the Hipath using an E1 (R2 Signaling) channel.
I´m able to reach the VoiceMail pilot number (36999) (or any other VoIP extension) from any Siemens extension using the following setup:

TRUNK GROUP: ADD-BUEND:33 ,"VOIP GATEWAY",32 ,N,0 ,* ,1 ,ON ,0 ,0 ,NEUTRAL;
ANALOG TRUNK CIRCUIT: ADD-TACSU:pEN=1-3-25-58,COTNO=1,COPNO=1,DPLN=0,ITR=0,COS=80,LCOSV=1,LCOSD=1,TGRP=33,COFIDX=0,CCT="VOIP GATEWAY",DESTNO=0,NNO=2,ALARMNO=2,CARRIER=1,ZONE=EMPTY,LIN=0,CIDDGTS=NONE,CBMATTR=NONE,CLASSMRK=EC &G711&G729OPT,TCCID=" ",DITIDX=0,TRTBL=GDTR,RULEIDX=0,INS=Y,DEVTYPE=TC,DEV=DIUCQ421,MFCVAR=3,SUPPRESS=0,DGTCNT=0,TESTNO=1,CIRCIDX=5,CDRINT=1,CCTINFO=0,DIALTYPE=MFC-MFC,DIALVAR=6-0,COEX=0;
WABE: ADD-WABE:CD=#99,DAR=NETRTE,CHECK=N;
RICHT: ADD-RICHT:MODE=CD,LRTE=99,CD=#99,CPS=0,SVC=VCE,NAME="VOIP EXTENSIONS",TGRP1=33,DESTNO=99,DNNO=99,PDNNO=99,CHARCON=NEUTRAL;
LDAT: ADD-LDAT:LROUTE=99,LSVC=VCE,LVAL=1,TGRP=33,ODR=31,LAUTH=3,CARRIER=1,ZONE=EMPTY,LATTR=NONE,VCCYC=4;
LODR: ADD-LODR:31,,,,ECHOALL; ADD-LODR:31,,,,END;

WABE FOR STN: ADD-WABE:CD=36999,DAR=STN,CHECK=N,DESTNO=99;

In this way I can do a CFB or CFNR from a Siemens extension to the 36999 (Freeswitch).

Then if I do the call: A --CALL--> B --CFB/CFNR--> 36999
The problem is when the call is forwarded, the Freeswitch will receive the calling party as A and called as 36999. In this way it will not reach B Voice-mail.
If the call is forwarded with B as calling party then it will reach the right voice-mail.

Anyone see how to accomplish that?

This would be just an educated guess.
Try adding the parameter DSDL in the COT of the Digital Trunk.
First
REG-COT;
DIS-COT;

This should then not send forward the A party number.

sbcsu,
Thanks for the reply. In fact I was wrong.
I need to transfer the call to free switch keeping the A party number but forwarding to B number but in the Freeswitch system.
I´m able to do that using a code then striping the code prior to reach the Freeswitch.

In the other hand, need an advice about MWI on Hipath. I found that using an analog line I can set the MWI ON or OFF if I dial the codes I created in WABE.
In my case:
ADD-WABE:CD=7444,DAR=MBON,CHECK=N;
ADD-WABE:CD=7445,DAR=MBOFF,CHECK=N;

But it doesn´t work if I try to make this call from Freeswitch (which enter on the Hipath thru the E1 channel).
There is some way to integrate MWI?

Hi,

You will need the parameter TSCS to be added to the COT of the 'link' between the 4000 and the freeswitch for that MWI signalling to be accepted.
The signalling of MWI on/off is sent as an ISDN message on that link

Also
if your networking is setup correctly then you should be able to dial from a 4000 analogue the mwi on/off codes to a phone across the link on the freeswitch.
The lamp should go on or off

I added the TSCS parameter in the COT but if I dial 7444+ExtensionNumber (to set the lamp on) from Freeswitch this call is redirected to the Hipath using the VoIP Gateway but is rejected.
I´m using an E1 R2 (no ISDN) in this connection.

Using a 4000 analog extension i´m able to turn lamp on/off dialing the mwi on/off codes.

Do you see any other thing that I can do in order to make this MWI signaling works if call goes thru the E1 VoIP Gateway?

The freeswitch has to send the mwi on/off via a message on the link, you cannot dial a hipath code from the freeswitch for mwi on/off.
What you can test is if you use a hipath analogue extension and dial the mwi on/off of a freeswitch extension that should work.
If you can get the freeswitch 'system' to generate the mwi on/off and then test that as well

sbcsu,
I have not idea how to generate this "message".
In my setup I have a voice gateway between Hipath and Freeswitch (E1 <-> VoIP) and can just place voice calls on it.
The E1 is R2-MFC signaling, it isn´t ISDN QSIG where I can exchange messages.
Any ideas? I´m thinking that maybe I will need an analog gateway just to set MWI of the Hipath extensions ON or OFF.

Yes you are correct. You will need another method to connect them both.
