I am working on HP4K V3.0 older software. I know it's behind on patches but for legal reasons I cannot obtain patches at this time. Trying to stay legal here.

I am trying to get AP backups to run without much success.
I have cleaned up the RMX data partitions that were down
to 0MB free space and also some un-needed files in the Unix side. All of the backups are working well except for AP Backups. I can run them manually and they tend to succeed but that is getting old.

The schedule is set for 2200HRS without verify or sync flagged. They fail for different reasons.

Not all of these are from the same log files.

Does this backup copy the files out of the system and back in via FTP? The backup server address is the PBX NIC card. I have DEA-ACT-DSSM without much success. Tried setting the backup to run at different times. Verified it doesn't conflict with auto-UPDATs, etc. Only thing I have not done yet is bounce the OpenUnix.

Any ideas? This is a tricky one.

thanks,

Known problem, you really need some patches on UW7-HBR. This can't be fixed by hand.

Thanks hypath, I was afraid that would be the only fix. If I get lucky and stumble on to a BAND-AID I will post.
