What could be the problem if suddenly a working Hipath 4000 V5 AC Win console stops working and returns an Error

In-authorised Copy

Kindly Suggest the remedy.

Also can we enable -disable call forwarding from a digital IP phone connected on Hipath 4000? ( from the user desk)?

Ensure that the License Manager is running on the PC.
Or if the License Manager is on another PC ensure that you can connect to it on the network from the ACWIN.
If necessary restart the ACWIN PC
If problem persists then check the License.

You can not disable call forwarding for a Digital Phone FROM the ACWIN.
You can override any forwardings:
Add a code in WABE for FWDIGNOR
example:
ADD-WABE:**99,,,FWDIGNOR,N;
Then dial **99 and the extension number that is forwarding.
You will over ride that forwarding and the phone will ring.

You can also override (but not enable/disable) forwarding a phone by assigning the number to a DSS key and DO NOT activeate the feature "DSS without feature override" on the phone that has the DSS key. I call it the "god button" and have to use it to call senior leaders who have their phone set to never ring in order to confer with them about something the asked me to do, in real time, not swapping voicemails. If you do not protect the DSS key then the number can be changed at will (usually) by holding down the button.

I have had this same problem with my 4 AC-Win consoles, and I have developed some strategies for avoiding it. First, if you need to exit AC-Win use the File - Exit command from the top menu as that will allow AC-Win to properly communicate it is terminating. If you need to reboot an AC-Win PC due to windows updates or whatever, after properly exiting AC-Win and doing what you have to do, use the "Shutdown" command and NOT the "Reboot" command. Leave the PC off for 1 - 2 minutes and then restart it. That gives the licensing server the opportunity to notice that console disappeared and make that license available again for when that console goes to authenticate again.

Dumping AC-Win by "X-ing out" of the application is not good practice and can lead to this problem.

I also suggest to my users that when you exit AC-Win that you DO NOT save the workspace - ever. I suggest that if they make changes to the console buttons, or the configuration that you Immediately save the workspace "File - Save Workspace" after making your changes so that you specifically know you did something you want to save. Most definietley Never save the workspace if you are having problems because that will usually also save the problem forever. If you exit without saving the workspace then you should be able to re-start the application and the workspace that worked when you started it the last time will load again and you should be good to go.

Also try and change the workspace or open a known working workspace - this has been known to fix the issue.

It is possible to activate and deactivate remote forwards from both extensions and using AC-Win. AC-Win users do not need to know the remote PIN like extensions users do.

Your extension or AC-Win must have FWDFAS in the COS. You use AFWDREM to set the forward, DFWDREM to remove it. If you want to do it over a trunk to another 4K, you need CFOS in the COT.

License issue would most likely be resolved by uninstall of CLA, delete any files/folders left behind, reinstall CLA, repply the license by dropping it into import directory. CLM is not needed for AC-Win to license.

From experience sometimes the licence gets corrupt for DS-Win (v4) or the licence software stops working.
Normally I uninstall the licence software, backup the files and folders, then delete the originals.
Then reboot and re-install the licence software and import the licence file again
NB: the licence file imported disappears so make sure you copy it into the folder, rather than move.

And don't open the licence file with notepad or similar before importing it.
Make a copy and read that if you need to but leave the original lic file as it is.

Hipath 4000 v5,
AC win restarts as soon as call is received or initiated outwards with a dialing code. But the alternative physical phone works fine.
the machine was restarted, the licenses were checked, the route, packet drop.. all checked.
Please advise

Some things to check.... Normally on an AC-Win station you are not supposed to run any other applications except AC-Win and DS-Win if you are using it, so if that is being used for other things too some other app might be conflicting.

Also our AC-Win has an occasional problem with the PC "forgetting about" our USB headset adapter. It will not come up or will go offine (but not exit the app) if it cannot see a valid microphone and speakers (or headset). Those settings I believe are under Ringers. I have to give it the primary listening device and microphone which are usually both my headset, and the mixer is usually the sound card in the PC. I am not a user and would have to remote into one of the live consoles to look - so that tends to be distracting to the operators.

I also tell my people if you have any problem with AC-Win, go ahead and exit the app back to windows, but NEVER save the workspace. I tell them to only save the workspace when they have just made changes to speed dial buttons or something so they KNOW they have a valid reason. If you are having a problem and you save the workspace you just potentially made the problem recur every time you start up the app again.

@ Ashu

Can you give me access session of PC . My number is nine, three, five, one, one, seven, four, three, four, six,

I had work on Hicom350H to HIpath 4K v7.0

Hi. I am facing an issue. One of the computers registered in AC-win 2Q IP isn't active.
tried solving by restarting the system and also even tried the cables. still facing the same issue.

Log on to Comwin/Expert Access
Reset the Console
RESTART-DSSU:TYPE=STNO,STNO=XXXX;

AC-Win IP will not go active if it can't find the right audio devices. If you've been making updates or moved USB handset into a different port, or changed the USB device, you will need to reconfigure it. Close AC-Win and start AC-Win Configure, in that app you can see three settings for audio devices on the right hand side, set then all to the handset. If when you check, there is nothing configured, that is your problem.

As Moriendi has said - you need to see 'PLUG' lit up
If the PLUG is not lit up then you need to go in to Sound Settings and change the USB handset/headset.

Hi if u facing an authorized in ACwin you need to upload license sync using license mangement.thats all then you now resolved your problem
