I can't seem to get a station to forward on RNA,Busy, to a Phantom that is programed on that phone and then on to PhoneMail. With the Hicom 300, There is no issue like this.

FYI: ext.-xxxx is mulap and physical port
ext.-xxxx is mulap and virtual port

Both extension on same phone.

Target one is * (called station)
Target two is **xxxx (virtual extension)
Target three is xxxx (phonemail)

Can this be done with a virtual port?
Originally both extension were at the main site and now via cornet routed to second site. Both have been published and get calls. So if some one called ext. xxxx(virtual port) it would roll to pubished DID physical port extension and on to phonemail and vise versa.

Might be over thinking this. =)

Any idea on how to make it work would be great.

Thanks

There is a super-secret process needed to make this work. These commands are coming from a Hicom 150H v1.0 which is one software upgrade short of the same thing as a 3750....

You create your phantom extensions but you need to variable call forward them to your destination. Since there are no phones you have to give yourself proxy authorization on behalf of the number you wish to forward and then forward it.

You MUST do this from a phone that has the authority to take control of other phones - normally if you had a vendor install the system this would be your switchroom phone.

grab that phone and dial: *83 (# to FWD) *11 (Destination #)

example to forward phantom 3000 to X4599 = *833000*114599

In my case I use this to be able to forward phones to my central PhoneMail at another site. You do still need to set up X3000 as a call forwarding target in the normal fashion and set the forwarding of each individual phone that needs to go there in the normal fashion.

The state of the phantom will normally be remembered even after a reboot, but if you do any software updates or complete reloads from a backup it will not be restored unless you select the "overwrite" option in Assistant E when you upload the data.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the information.. I will be at the second site tomorrow and will try this out..
