HiPath 3500

Hello All,

What I need to do to link HiPath 3500 with HG 1500 card with two HiPath 4000, I have add the HiPath 3500 IP to the two HiPath 4000 gate keeper, one of them is already connected and the another one is not, any one can tell me what I miss ?!

Which version of the HiPath 4000? The pertinent AMOs changed from V3 to V4. Which type of IP Trunking are you attempting: native SIP, SIPQ, native H323, or Siemens H.323 (HFA)?

If there are three systems (2 4Ks and 1 3K), then you must use the LEGK. Do you have knowledge of the LEGK config process? It is not rocket science, but there is a specific sequence to follow - starting with enabling the LEGK. Please re-post with the requested info.

Iamnothere, Many thanks for your reply .. the two Hipath 4000 is V2, the IP Trunking is native H323 and I am sorry I don't know about the LEGK.

I will try my best to give you some BASIC info over the weekend. I also have some documentation that I will upload. "LEGK" is the Large Enterprise GateKeeeper, which resides inside the Switching Unit. It must first be enabled before you perform any IP Trunking-related config. If config is performed prior to enabling the LEGK, that config must be deleted, and sometimes a Switching Unit restart is necessary.

I have not forgotten. That info is on a different hard drive. Will post within a few hours from now. I will include one file that explains/illustrates how IP Trunking with LEGK works. A second file will show how to configure it. I recommend taht you FIRST build the IP Trunking between the two 4Ks, then add the 3K and any other system(s).

Thanks I am waiting your documents, but I want to tell you I have configured the LEGK on the two 4ks systems and they connect each other with no problem and already configured the 3k with CorNet-NQ to connect the two 4Ks and QSIG to connect the 3k to another Hicom 150E, the problem now is all systems can connect with each other but the 3k can only connect to one 4k at the time, as I attached I configured the 3k with H323 (H4000/OSO HX) to connect to one 4k and it's worked. but I cannot connect to the another one else I replace the current 4k IP with the another 4k IP, and when I use Surpass/ unspecified to put the two 4k IPs still one of them work and the another one don't.

I am still have a problem the situation is:

the two hipath 4000 systems connect to each other with no problem and I also can connect to hipath 3500 with no problem, but when I am only can connect to 1 hipath 4000 from the hipath 3500 and the another one always return with message "busy at the moment" when I dial, can any one help ?
