We have a Siemens HiPath 3000 system that has started to reboot itself.

Using Manager I, we look at the Maintenance and pull up the "Error History" here is some information I thought I would share:

Seems like this reboot happens roughly around every 8 hours (give or take 5, 10 or 15 minutes).

The one entry that shows the most information something going wrong is the following:

column "Error Categ. /no" has B 16-07,
column "Commentary" says in recover()
column "Measure" says Read Trace and Stackdump, call Level 3 S

Is there a way to find out where or what this Trace and Stackdump log (I presume) files to see what information they contain? Where do I find them at.

Anyone else have any thoughts on what could be going on?

Sorry that should say using Manager E to pull up the maintenace information when clicking on the "transfer" button..

Check if the power socket is connected to a light switch!
