Hi, how do I setup an extension with unrestricted outgoing long distance call?

Hi,

It is controlled by the class of service. Class of service is a 2 step process, firstly allowed or denied lists of numbers are applied to trunk groups then these are applied to the extensions. Just change the extension to have a COS that has 'unrestricted' assigned to the relevant trunk groups.

thank you for the reply. Is there any other way to setup unrestricted long distance calls? we currently have 2 ext can make unrestricted calls, do you know where I can find out how it is setup?

put the other extensions in same cos as the two that have full outward access

Hi,

There are 2 classes of service, one is for general calls but it could also be being done in the LCR tables, there are restriction levels in there. Check the dial plan and dial rule to see if there is a miniumum class of service assigned to your long distance access code.
