I manage the IT department for a large real estate company which serves over 100 staff and Realtors. We are currently looking to replace our 2 Xerox Phasers (8200 and 8400) with one, possibly two new printers. We have been taking bids from local companies for several months and have it narrowed down to a few products and I was hoping to get some input from anyone who has experience with any of these models. I'm looking for pro's, con's, annoyances, ease of use and setup, engine life, etc...

Our print volume for the Phasers is approximately 6,000 to 8,000 copies per month, mostly high-quality single and double sided fliers for residential properties at 8 1/2" x 5" paper, some on thicker card stock including postcards. I've already gathered information on pricing and terms for service/supplies, now I want an idea of their actual performance. The models we are currently looking at are:

Okidata 3624

Canon ImageRunner C3380i

Kyocera FS-C8100DN & FS-C5030N

Copystar CS-C3232

Any input would be appreciated & thanks in advance!

those models have too high of a cost to maintain and repair
You are right in using the Phasers for the type of printing you need, but then these have a high cost factor also. The main problem that I see is trying to get high end production on what are really small use printers. Sure, the salesman talked up the thing, and told you only what you wanted to hear. He made his sale, and he does not care anymore. Thats what print shops are for! I digress:
The phasers are the best for your use. 50% of cost in repairs is worth extending their life. Xerox has trade-ups that are very economical and you should look into that.

Have you looked at the Toshiba 2500C and 3500C color copiers? They have a superior cost per copy and have the convenience features your users need.

They handle a wide range of stock.
