Jul 24, 2007 #6 whosrdaddy Vendor Mar 11, 2003 4,231 BE many lost signal could lead to a restart, so it could be an indicator. only ALLOP and SDDSP will tell you if the system really has restarted.. ----------------------------------------------------- What You See Is What You Get Never underestimate tha powah of tha google! Jul 24, 2007 #7 pcasi Technical User May 5, 2003 105 MX Speaking of SDDSP, is it possible to obtain a SYAR dump analyzer/decoder application? I´ve seen it listed for SAM ver 2, but not in later versions. I have SAM 4.0 and it´s not in it. Is there any other app available? Regards, Upvote 0 Downvote

Jul 25, 2007 Thread starter #8 pawshman Programmer Mar 7, 2005 168 GB Daddy, many thankxs for the info, STAR coming your way for the SDDSP command ! BTW, another question (related) lost signals in HIMDP print I've always been led to believe that a large ammount of lost signals is "NOT" good example LIM1 overwrittent event events first entry last entry 100 3632 1100 25/07 1102 25/07 (example) HIMDP shows , lets say CMP/SCP or RMP as the majority of events ? thankxs Upvote 0 Downvote

Jul 25, 2007 Thread starter #10 pawshman Programmer Mar 7, 2005 168 GB HI Daddy, I resolved the problem by restarting the relevant program unit. But from my training/experience large amounts of lost signals are not good, especially if the same unit is reoccuring. Again, I am being told that this is quite normal and nothing to be concerned about. I believe from experience and training from E/// and D that is not the case just wanted a definitive answer thankxs Upvote 0 Downvote
