Hi all,
I'm inserting a database into MSWord 2000. One of the fields used is to select the subset of data that I want to use. I don't want this field to be displayed or printed in the document. Is there any way of hiding the field?

Select the field and hit Format-Font and choose Hidden for the text property. However, anyone viewing hidden fonts will be able to see it. (Tools-Options, View tab)

That's exactly what I did do - I am planning to redevelop the report into cold fusion so that my users can simply access it via our intranet - but needed to get a one-off sample of the report printed in Word so that it could be agreed. Thanks for your help.
