hiding button properties when enlarging a contained image

On part of my website I have rollover buttons with large images embedded in the "over" keyframe. It all works fine, the image enlarges when you rollover the thumbnail like it was meant to.
The problem is that I need to reduce the "rollover" area to just the thumbnail rather than the whole button.

Go to the "kitchens" page from the main menu and the rollover images are in there.

Yeah, I did find that hard to explain really.

If you look on the website on the "kitchens" bit.
Then put your mouse over the thumbnail images they produce a larger version of that image.
Unfortunately this also happens when you put your mouse over any area that the larger image covers.

I need to be able to reduce that "activation/rollover" area to just the thumbnail.

Can you provide a link to your .fla in a Flash 8 format, not CS3?

Don't set the pictures on the Over state of the buttons...

Put them in a movie clip, positioned on the right side, and use actionscript on the buttons to move the playhead to the appropriate frame in the pictures mc...
