I am currently deploying MF 1.8 for Windows 2000 with application publishing. When the users logon on the citrix through Citrix Program Neighbourbooh, it prompts with all the applications that the user is authorised to use plus the "Application Manager Set" icon.

How can I hide this "Application Manager Set"??

Another problem I have on the properties of Application Publiching. When I checked the box "Add program to client's desktop", it adds the icon to the user session's desktop and not on the workstation's desktop.

My enviroment: Windows 2000 Server running MF 1.8 for Windows 2000, connecting to Windows NT 4.0 domain.

Thanks
Francis

I may have an ideas on the second part of your question. Citrix is very aware (even pre-Win2K) of the current user on the client desktop. Connections, etc., defined for one user (username/password at the desktop level) are unavailable to the next. A workaround to get icons and ICA connections is simply to copy them from one profile to another (C:\windows\profiles on pre-Win2K machines -- probably Win2K as well).

Good Luck!
