I have customize all of my icons that are showing in system tray with custom settings(always show or always hide), but after time some of the icons go back to the default settings. For example the icons for my internet and lan connection - I set them to always show, but after a short period of time they will return to the hide when inactive state. And this is happend with 2-3 more icons. Its wierd. Any suggestion how to fix this?

You could clear the "Hide inactive icons" check box and not use the "Customize" tab, you could then use the Properties of any Icon via a right-click of the icon and look for the options (usually available but not always) and disable the icon that way.

Taskbar Icons

Some icons such as your Network icon, Security Center, Safely Remove Hardware, etc. cannot be persistently state changed as to Hide or Show.

This is because the icons you see in the Custom settings dialogue are not "real" in a customizable way. The icons are constantly changing state and thus contantly being re-generated anew. So while you might hide an older icon view, this does nothing to the new view generated with a state change or a restart of your computer.
