Hello again. In need of some assistance (as usual).

I have a subform embedded in a tab. The subform is a table and it's Master/Child links is a date field. The subform displays the records perfectly however when a new record is added a row is inserted (the row with the *) below that record with all fields blank except that date field. Is there a way to hide that row? It's would confuse my users to see a blank row with nothing but a date in it.

I've looked vigorously throughout this forum but I cannot find the answer or maybe I'm not sure how to ask the question.

Thanks ladies and gents.

The row is for adding a new record. You can set the Allow Additions property to No, but if you wish to allow your users to add records, you will need to change the property to Yes in code at a suitable point.

Thanks Remou. I thought maybe there was an easier solution that I was missing. Thanks for confirming this form me.
