We have Exchange 2003 loaded and when we check the Hide from Exchange address Lists they still show up. We were able to use this in Exchange 2000 but for some reason it has quit working in Exchange 2003. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Thanks,
Kim McCrary

I seem to be having the exact same problem but have not found and resolutions. I see that no one replied to you post. Were you ever able to find a resolution?

I thought I had this problem at one point. But it turned out that I was just impatient and didn't wait long enough for everything to refresh.
Also, if you're using Outlook 2003 (MAPI) with Cached Exchange mode then you'll probably have to either restart the program and/or manually synchronize with the Exchange server.
Hope this helped. Good luck.

Hi, seems I have related problem. Several 2003 MSEXCH are running, all clear installations and all are equal (OK, nearly equal). No migrations, no replications, nothing complicated.
One of Exchange can not "deal" with new email-enabled public folders: no e-mail addresses assigned automatically for folders and no new records in the global address list. I'm confused because other MSEXCH installations are OK. Marked or unmarked same "Hide from list..." checkbox makes nothing.
Colleagues, have you got any point on it?
Thanks.
