hide file name ultimate

Hi

this is "doing my head in" considering a complete total absolute and definate re install!!!!!

Supuriously and for no reason the option under view ( right click on a folder) Hide file names becomes checked.

Can be ok for an hour or a day and then one folder will take it upon itself to check that box.

Searched the web and found similar isssues but no fix.

Am I the only person with this issue? Using Ultimate with all the updates

Any ideas anyone?

Are you using Thumbnails view, or a Picture and Video
Are there any clues in these?
