Hi everyone,

I have been asked to block the caller id information for some people that belong to a hunt group. They use to get calls from users asking for technical support but users first dial the "general" helpdesk number and then get transfered to this people, but sometimes the operators need to call back the clients and their extension or DID is reflected. They are now complaining that users are dialing directly to their extension when they should use the main number (helpdesk). Is there anyway to hide this information?

These calls are internal (from one extension to another and this might be difficult to accomplish) and also external to fixed lines and mobile phones.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

PS. I have MD110 BC10 PBX

Tanya.

Hi you should be able to block by changing the ADC parameters on each extension. This can be done easily if you have Extension Mgr working.

hope that helps

best regards

As cowboz stated, is acheived via ADC.

KSCAC:DIR=XXXXX,ADC=0001000000;
EXCAC:DIR=XXXXX,ADC=001000000;
