WE HAVE A VOICE MAIL CALLEGRA AND WHEN MY USER ACCESS TO YOUR VOICE MAIL AND DIGIT YOUR PASSCODE THIS IS SHOWED IN THE DISPLAY OF YOUR SET AND MY DOUBT IS HOW I CAN MODIFY IN MY PBX FOR THIS NUMBER NOT WAS SHOWED
I thought there was something in CLS that could be changed to not allow the digits to display. I swear I had this issue at a previous location with Lyrix VM attached. This will bother me now because I can't remember what I did to fix it...
Does the PBX see the voice mail ports as trunks or stations? If trunks the PBX can be programmed to not display the digits dialed (end to end signaling - EES) after the connection is established. Don't know if the same can be done with a station to station call.
That is what I thought. I am waiting for a response from someone I used to work with about this. We had a user complain that her VM password would show on the display. Whateve change was made it allowed for a display (i.e. internal calls, the number that was just dialed) but after the connection was made no more digits would populate the display.
Believe that even with EES and a trunk, the digits will still show up on the display. However, they will not show up in any CDR records and will not be captured in any Redial List (M39xx, IP Phones).
