Hi all,
Is there a way to only show our main line number to outbound callers and not individuals DDI'S. Have taken over maintaining the system and to get round this problem the previous prgrammer created virtual ext's with DDI'S forwarded to individual extensions. This works ok to a point but makes voicemail pick up for individuals a pain as the voicemail is stored in the virtual extension not the physical one. Hope this makes sense.
All replies much appreciated.

Nick

It does make sense since the voicemail is tied to the original extension.

I would have to assume you are on older sofware since more recent versions allow you to specifiy a distinct transmitted CID per extension. While there are tricks you can do with the older software, upgrading maybe the best bet.
