Hidden Program wont Maximise on Screen 1

Running a chat software program (in this case Sightmax 6.0) which launches as normal with a log-in screen, but then doesnt expand out on screen to use once the user has submitted passwords and clicked log-in.

Icon in program tray shows (bottom right), and also across the taskbar at the bottom of screen.

Clicking on the program in the taskbar momentarily looks like its maximising the program to fill screen (shows briefly a blue bar at top) but then doesnt display anything, remaining on the desktop picture instead. Also not available with TAB key.

I have checked the properties to ensure its not hidden, and also managed to install this program on several other PCs with no issues - this has occured to 2 PCs from 9 - all same spec and OS.

It's just common sense, shame sense isn't common!

This talks about removing some corrupt .xml files, it might be worth a try.

Cleared out the XML files, and it worked straight away - no re-install needed.
