Hidden info inserted by dreamweaver

I would like to know if Dreamweaver V4 inserts any hidden keys or information into HTML files it creates to identify it as created by Dreamweaver. If so, how do I delete it?

I figure if I paste the markup into notepad, save as a text file then save as html using Arachnophilia or some other freeware editor I will be sweet, though this is laborious.

I don't think it does, but why don't you just type your code in notepad anyway? like I did 10 years ago. (just kidding)
