Help! I have a Siemens Hicom 3500 at one of my warehouses. All calls to the main number and other known numbers, are ringing and ringing, versus rolling to the auto attendant menu. This started this morning. Users are able to make outbound calls. No one is aware of any changes made.

The phone company was contacted regarding the main number (which is a copper line) and they reported no issues. (I'm not sure what was tested or not tested).

There appear to be 2 rows of 2 analog cables in the upper right hand corner (labeled Analog Subscriber). 4 cables feed this.

I've had someone on site re-seat all the cables. The switch appears to have power; ethernet link light is flashing green, lock light is on. Currently, I have someone testing the analog lines, by unplugging from the switch and plugging into a fax machine, and making outbound calls (to determine ani).

I do not have any experience with this system. Can anyone advise any troubleshooting steps?

I have a picture of the equipment taken around 6 months ago, so can at least 'see' how it should look.

Thanks in advance!!

Since no one has offered you a more educated reply to this, if you haven't already done so, have you tried shutting the whole system down and firing it back up. That would bet you a fresh start on all the software. As the tech I use on occasion likes to say when I call him for something minor, "Sometimes a good enema is just what the doctor ordered..."

I am always mildly paranoid about bringing systems down and back up though - so I would also suggest you first make sure you have a current backup just in case.

That system probably has an integrated voicemail card that has gone to sleep, not uncommon in the Hipath 3K systems.
As donb01 points out, likely a reboot will correct. I am assuming that the phones work for inbound/outbound calls and it's just your main incoming number that's suffering. If it's still not behaving after the reboot the IVML has likely died. You then need 3K manager E software to access the system and administer the trunks to ring to another target other than voicemail on inbound calls.
