Hello, My colleagues in Vienna have a hicom 300 E with optiset E memory type phones.
Is there a way to block the sending of the callers(CLI) either by feature code on the phone of fixed programming.

Normally if you use the left - right arrow menu buttons on the phone there are menu options to suppress caller ID or allow caller-id.

If that doesn't work just change the subscriber number entry for the station information (SCSU) to the main published number of your facility and you will give that out instead, effectively blocking the caller-id of the phone from going out.

This assumes ISDN PRI or some similar trunking method. If your calls are going out copper CO lines they will normally send out the ID of the trunk.

This works for me but I'm in the US and have ISDN PRI trunking.

Set SSTNO to Y in SBCSU, or use DISUON code in Wabe for display suppression

On the Hicom 300??? What is Wabe? I never heard of it before. I know SBCSU but it isn't a command I use often on the 300 - it has more usefulness on the 3000...

On the Hicom 300 - European software - WABE configures all the feature codes and dialling digits. So dis-wabe:gen,,0&&15,,disuon; would list the feature code the o/p wants, if it's configured. If not, add-wabe to add it.

Hmmmm.... I'll stick with the US stuff - that's fun enough )
