I have been tasked with adding 3 new analogue telephones to an existing Hicom 300 that require to work in a hotline configuration (All the analogue circuits work in this manner). The problem is as far as Hicom is concerned I have forgot most of the information from an Operation and Maintenance course I attended a few years ago!
I have managed to obtain a copy of the service manual that lists the AMO commands, as a result I have managed to get the 3 circuits working as manual dialling. Although I have replicated all the parameters I can identify from a known working circuit the only result so far is what sounds like congestion tone when I go offhook on any of the new extensions. (following CHANGE-SDAT..attribut, hot..) being added.

Can someone point me in the right direction.

thanks

Assuming you have 9006.

The phone needs to have HOT in its COS

use AMO ITRHO to program the hotdest(s) for the phones

Assign the corresponding hotdest number to each phone.

That should work.
