Hi, I have a Hicom 150 and I'm administering it primarily through the Assistant E software. Under the "System Status" category is a section called "Cards" and then under that is a graphical depiction of the hardware (cards) that are inserted into the system. Assistant E calls this the "System Expansion Hardware" section.
My problem is that the image is wrong. It shows that I have cards installed in slots where there are no cards (though possibly there may have been at one time, I'm not sure). The software won't let me remove them and I can't figure out why it's showing such a thing anyway.
Does anyone know how I can fix it? I see an option in the manual that talks about using a System Administration Access Code (the code is *95 + 62659321) to "Reset the boards and port assignments stored in the system". But that's all it says about it, so I'm not really sure what it would do. I'm worried if I do that I will lose all system data.
Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks.
