am installing accpac 5.5 on a computer,i have installed pervasive on and finished with accpac but when i open the accpac there is the error "system error.cannot verify user information" can you please help me with this and the procedures i should use to solve this problem.

yes please thats where i directed all the files to

Yeah next time read the documentation. Do not install to the default folder on Win 7 and you must disable UAC. You need to uninstall and delete everything and install again to something like c:\accpac.

please am new to this software and will not repeat such mistake again but can you please show me the procedure to disable the UAC and how to create that folder?just to be right.

Google UAC.
If you cannot do something basic like create a folder then you should get professional to help install the software.

wow ok i hear so i only have to create a folder like that on the c drive and name it accpac then direct the installation into it?

Right, when you install it will default to c:\program files\yada yada... just change that to c:\accpac.

i have done all you instructed me to do now its telling me "you have reached the maximum number of concurrent usere for your lanpak license"and the sample companies are not even opening what should i do and 5.5.

Which lanpak did you install?

i have been able to put the lanpak but its still giving me error that "you do not have a license to use this product" can you please help me with this and what i should do?

There are different LanPaks for 5.5 and earlier for each database. Make sure it is a Pervasive lanpak license that you are installing.
