Hi,

two nic's are not communicating

I have now a very simple setup
w2k server (all working very fine)
1 xp client
w2k : Realtek RTL8139(A/B/C/8130) PCI Fast Ethernet NIC
xp : 3com 3c900b tpo (10 full duplex)

on both cards i forced 10 full duplex
cabels and switch are cheked, i even connected them with a crosscable.

Both cards worked fine until upgrade the network new install server and upgrade win98 client to xp pro (both working fine)

when you guy would want to help many thanks in advance

Did you:

1) Checked they are both on the same workgroup/Domain?
2) Unchecked the firewall on XP?
3)Have the same class/IP Style (DHCP ON/OFF) ?
