They only way I know of to have an analog line on a digital phone is to use a DSS key. In that instance you will still not be able to use the line to dial out from - if you push the button while idle it will call that number, it can show you if someone is on the phone, and if it is ringing you can be notified, and push the button to answer it.
I don't know how the Verint system works - my 2 systems for recording are via the handset cord on phones recorded all the time, and via our voicemail system thru special dialing procedures. Sorry.
