Hi,
On a 3700 cisco router i got the following configuration on ethernet;
interface FastEthernet0/0
no ip address
no ip route-cache
no ip mroute-cache
duplex auto
speed auto
!
interface FastEthernet0/0.1
encapsulation dot1Q 10
ip address 10.1.222.1 255.255.255.248
ip access-group 105 in
ip accounting access-violations
no ip route-cache
no ip mroute-cache
!
interface FastEthernet0/0.2
encapsulation dot1Q 2
ip address 1.4.52.1 255.255.255.0
no ip route-cache
no ip mroute-cache
Now ,the problem is when i try to see the bandwidths of each interface i see the following thing that i couldn't understand:
router_3700#sh interface FastEthernet0/0.2
FastEthernet0/0.2 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is Gt96k FE, address is 000b.bec3.8cd0 (bia 000b.bec3.8cd0)
Internet address is 2.16.128.1/24
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 10000 Kbit, DLY 1000 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation 802.1Q Virtual LAN, Vlan ID 2.
ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00
router_3700#sh interface FastEthernet0/0.1
FastEthernet0/0.1 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is Gt96k FE, address is 000b.bec3.8cd0 (bia 000b.bec3.8cd0)
Description: SUBE
Internet address is 2.16.2.1/24
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 100000 Kbit, DLY 100 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation 802.1Q Virtual LAN, Vlan ID 1.
ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00
as you see at the second subinterface
BW 10000 Kbit
at the first subinterface
BW 100000 Kbit
why is this difference, both are attached to same port on a 10/100 switch?
thank you friends.
