Hi,

Intermittently my users get stuck in OL97 after sending a mail - the patterns show that it happens when a msg has been replied to 4 or 5 times, it gets stuck in the outbox, and when trying to delete or move or open it, get the Mapi spooler has already begun tranmsitting this message error. We then go through the process of creating a new profile, importing everything except the outbox, and the user can continue using mail. I'm not sure if this is outlook related, or word related (as word is the default mail editor)..
any ideas?

Have you installed the Office97 SR2?

i did on some machines, and although the problem occurs much less (about once a month instead of 3 or 4 times), it still happens.. and it only affects a small number of users.. i'm not sure if there could be a temp file which gets corrupt when messages go back and forth??..
