Internal Error 2835. ErrorIcon, ErrorDialog

However, when i double click the .MSI package, it actually gives another error :
"Error 1322. A portion of the folder path " exceeds the length allowed by the system"

Ive looked on the web and have not found anything useful..

Help please...

Go to the setup editor and go to the dialogs tab. You should find that the ErrorDialog box is checked. Look and see whether all the associated icons/bitmaps exist for the dialog. Simplest thing would be to exclude from the package -- if the Install fails, the Windows installer will still pop up a generic dialog box.

As for Error 1322, I would suggest going to directory table in the setup editor and looking through the directory names. There is probably an invalid name or character, or a directory name that exceeds 128 xters.

Error 1322 usuallu means that you have an empty directory that is not required by the install, if it just being created you may have to plane a dummy file their so the package can use it at a later date..
