Hi!

I have an x.iqd file created by using the SQL Server database and i when i open this iqd file in Transformer there seems to be some problem. There is an error saying that Transformer can't read the database defined in the x.iqd file.

Error No: TR0118

Can someone help me out.

Try to open and run the Impromptu IMR that is the parent of the IQD.

If you get a connection error there then you need to reconfigure the Cognos database connection. You can do this through Impromptu under Catalog --> Databases.

If no error running the report then I'd re-save the IQD from the original IMR.

The .imr file is opening properly and there is no connection problem. But i still have the same problem even after saving the file again.

Another thing to check:

Bring up the Signons dialog in Transformer. Make sure that you are signing onto the database with the proper username/pwd.

Just for clarification, you are opening the IMR on the same machine as you are running transformer, right?

Hi!

I am opening the IMR on the same machine as the IQD and i would like also to mention that we can set signons only if the model is opened. But my proble is that to make a model itself i am trying to pull data from an iqd, my model is not ready so i can't go till signons.

Any othe idea.
