Hi,

I got an error like "Failed to load database info",when I preview the report in Crystal mangement console logged on as Administrator.

It puzzles me that I got this error before the report was asking oracle username/password.

Crystal enterprise
Data base: oracle

Hi, If that early, it means that the Pageserver could not even find the connection to Oracle..Check the tnsnames.ora file's location.

Can you connect to that instance from SqlPLus on the CE Server?
BTW, What version of Oracle?

I can connect through sql_plus & I can do tnsping.

An obvious question, but I'll ask anyway..

Under the CMC's database tab for that report is the correct Oracle Instance shown?
