Hi
I am trying to use the time profile Latch Active to over ride a time profile on the incoming call routes.
I have put a time profile button on a 1608 but the green light comes on randomly.
The time profile is set to Monday to Sunday 00:00 to 23:59 so was thinking that Latch Active would override until manually reset?

Thanks!

You will struggle to overwrite an incoming ICR time profile using a time profile button because the ICR is the first entry and so will be followed before it has a chance to get to whatever you are changing with the button.

Time profile overrides can only be activated/deactivated with shortcodes, not with button programming.

Ah your talking about that new setting, my apologies :)

Thanks for that,it all ways work with the short codes, will remove the button

It claims it can be done with a button in 9.1

Time Profile
You can manually override a time profile. The override settings allow you to mix timed and manual settings.

The button indicator will show the Time Profile state and pressing the button will present a menu with five options and an indication of the current state. The menu options are listed below.

Menu Option Description
Timed Operation No override. The time profile operates as configured.
Active Until Next Timed Inactive Use for time profiles with multiple intervals. Select to make the current timed interval active until the next inactive interval.
Inactive Until Next Timed Active Use for time profiles with multiple intervals. Select to make the current active timed interval inactive until the next active interval.
Latch Active Set the time profile to active. Timed inactive periods are overridden and remain active.
Latch Inactive Set the time profile to inactive. Timed active periods are overridden and remain active.

No need to burn buttons, set that user to be allowed to change the status of the group in their user settings and it will appear under the "Status" button that will pop up on their softkeys :)
