If you are on a version of crystal reports prior to 8 you are out of luck. By design, this is not meant to be a dynamic link between two report objects.

However starting in version 8 you have the ability to reimport subreport on demand. Right click on the subreport obkect from the design window and select "re-import subreport". Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

thanks for response

I am making two subreperts like A -> B ->C. Now when I reimport report B in report A it works perfectly but when I reimport C in report B it gives error "reimport failed" and sometimes.I am getting error which is related to crw32.exe.
Please suggest me if you have something about this problem.
thanks

Tanya...

A sub report cannot have a subreport of it's own, so you will have to find some other way to get your data
