Hi,

I am getting an odbc error when I try to run a query which calculates the sum of a particular column. The data type of the column is number and the odbc error description says -- numeric value out of range. Can anyone suggest a solution.

This could occur because of the data type not being supported by the ODBC driver. Try to change the data type of the filed you are doing a sum on to FLOAT instead of INT or NUMBER. Re-import or refresh the physical layer, restart the Analytics Service and run the query again.
