I am a newbie.I have gone through lookup transformation in the help files of Informatica but not very clear in understanidng the concept.Can someone explain with examples.Please!

Hi,

It is just another table that is join by certain key column in the source qualifier. The use of the lookup is to know whether the value is existing to another table that you want to populate in your target table.
