Good afternoon to all sir as per yours instruction i assigned modem nuber, its ringing but there is no confirmation tone. Also i cleared voice call to normal ring tone. Now there are 12 external lines programmed in group 9. We have only one CO Linea. I need to takeout all 11 CO line leave only one. The next thing i to assign aardvark receiption no ie zero (0), for incomming ring. Please help me for the said task i will be very grateful to you all experts.

Did you try connecting with a modem, does the system trip ringing? IIRC the system only responds when it hears tone from the incoming modem connection. If the modem isn't responding, you will need to check the dip switches on the CPU as the modem connection can be redirected to the second connector on the CPU.

Don't delete the lines, just make them busy using CMD E51 and just to make sure change them into a different trunk route in CMD 3000.

Is reception a console or just a Dterm?

Respected sir OzzieGeorge and all experts The operator telephone is D term series. The dip switch may be set to MAT programming mode. Please guide me to connect an external modem but the problem is the MAT cable so how to connect or make a cable locally. Thanks for your kind response.

Unless you can get the special plug, you can't make a cable however this may be your lucky day, see here .......

To enable people to dial 0 for the operator, create a virtual extension 0 in command 11 and then assign it on the reception phone on a key.

Respected sir OzzieGeorge and Belevedere I have the problem of trunk line which is in a public group using access code 9. The boss want the line to connect to his Extension. The exrension is analogue. So please guide me to take out the line from the group assign a code and assign ring on his extension. Sory for repeating the question. Thanks for help.

To remove the trunk from LCR (dial 9 routing) use

CMD 30 YY=00 FD XXX SD CCC Exe

XXX is the trunk number assigned in CMD 10

The value that displays after the trunk number is the assigned route number. You want to delete the trunk from the route. The command would look like this. Naturally your trunk number and route numbers may be different.
