Hi!
Could you help me?
The problem is: I'm installing AnalogProxy software - this is router for internet access in local network. Internet access is OK., but there is a problem whith e_mails. From PC stations I may only received e_mails and sending to adresses in my mail server. Any other adresses is not accessible...
On the server PC - e_mails is OK.

You need to enter default DNS server entries for addresses that are outside of your local network and its subnets. Right now your AnalogX DNS proxy server points only to local network addresses.

But I must admit you are very brave. I liked the product when I tried it a while ago. But it just seemed a likely support headache on a Lan of any size. It just makes more sense to me to create a DNS proxy server, centrally managed, to handle this problem than trying to distribute setting changes to every client for this freeware utility. This is why a HOSTS solution is troublesome as well.

Hi bcaster - you are right. When I start command "nslookup"
from PC stations - there is no answer...
C:\>nslookup

Ohhhh - How to fix this problem?

Enter your ISP's DNS servers in the TCP/IP properties of the workstations.

Chris.
