Hi all,

I have a problem that under the "Date and time settings" in Windows XP i donot get the option for "Internet Time" ,i did try to find for the solution on the Microsoft site but it states that the computers which r members of any Domain does not get this option.
On the other hand i have a computer in the same domain as in mine which has this option.
Please help...

Thanks,
Jitz.

This is a Group Policy object set at the Domain level. I am not certain why it does not affect the other user, but you can investigate a policy change on your machine if you have Administrative priviliges to see if you can set it differently. It may be that the policy at the Domain level was not completely locked down, and users are permitted to enable the option to change the Time service provider.

HI

Thanks for your reply,
I did try out few changes in Group policies in Time setting but that did not help.
It would be greatfull if you can advise me of the exact parameters to change in the Group policy.
Anyways,thanks again
jiten.
