Hi all,
I am new to this forum, bear with me.

I am trying to enable SIP trunks to an existing iPLDK300 Office 3.8 software.

I am testing this on an in house setup so have complete control over the router ect.
As this is now a legacy system in UK I am struggling to get dealer support hence my call for help to this forum

I have installed the VOIBE 2.1Cb card & programmed as required. I can make outgoing/incoming calls, but am not getting any speech packets from either party. I have spoken with SIP provider (Gamma) and they can see packets with correct headers for my IP & they are returning to that IP.
Confirmed with wireshark trace that I/C packets are hitting VOIBE but cannot see any outbound RTP.I have tried setting the NAT on router using UDP 2048-4096 & Even with DMZ. It appears as though the VOIBE is not passing any RTP packets inbound or outbound.

Hoping someone out there has a resolution.

Honestly, even though I have a VOIM on my LDK-20, I don't 100% understand the options as it isn't documented really.

Here is a screenshot of my settings (Not the SIP registration) that are working for me.
The red crossed area applies if the VOIM/VOIBE is being used as a GateKeeper, which it is not. Beyond this, I am not of any help!

Many thanks for your input 2311angel. Apart from the codec settings on this page, I do not think there are a settings that can cause the problem I am experiencing. I have confirmed the codec G711 a-law with the SIP provider.

While I'm not very knowledgeable on the 300, this doesn't look right. RTP for SIP normally uses ports 10,000 and above, right?

I think you are right NFC, not something in my comfort/knowledge zone, I have installed SIP on the later iteration of the system iPECS LIK & UCP. These use UDP ports 7000-10000, dependant on what gateways are used. I have to assume some internal magic occurs, as my SIP provider confirmed they use ports 10000-18000.

Hi

You have port forwarded TCP1719, 1720 and UDP5060 to the ip address of the VOIM? My notes say those (along with the 2048 range) is required.

The ports are going to the voim and not the MPB address? I foolishly made that school boy error once.

Also, the last point in the bulletin said 'Now reboot the system'. I take it you've done may of them trying to get it working?

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

Sorry Eats, thought I had already replied to this. To confirm, I have opened/forwarded ports 1719,1720 TCP/UDP, 5060 UDP, & 2048-4096 UDP to the Lan IP of the VOIBE card, I have also set the DMZ to hit the same IP as well.

When tracing with Wireshark I can see inbound RTP from Gamma going to VOIBE, I can also hear speech from Gamma on same trace. But I am not getting any RTP into the system or leaving the system.

This is becoming a real pain now. Thank you for your help so far guys.

Hi NFC,

At this time all ports are opened to IP of VOIBE card. Via DMZ on router.

Still having same problem all. Today I tried reprogramming from a defaulted DB, as I had not mentioned this was set up on a backup Db. The Original system is running on 3.5 software, I have on my test system an upgraded to 3.8Bf MPB. The backup DB was initialised from 3.5.to 3.8.

As mentioned I have defaulted that DB and tried programming from step one, and still have same problem. So corrupt DB can be ruled out.
