Hello!
So, our bar manager walked out in the middle of a shift, and now I've been granted the task of configuring our POS system. Just my luck, the manager was the only one who new how to work the system, and I'm scrambling. It looks like she had the prices set up for a regular price, a HH price, and a special price set up for one day during the week. We had wanted to eliminate the 3rd so I thought by going in and removing it that it would just take away that option. Now, everything is randomly ringing up at either that cheapest price or not at all. Is anyone able to help?? I've purchased a Micros manual, but it only talks about setting up discounted prices for a single day, not for a time period. We currently run HH daily from 3-7, and I'm not sure how to get everything working again....

CAn you revert back to the items or settings you deleted? Do you remember what you removed and or did?

Look in "Sales" "Menu Levels" "Auto Mane Levels" and let us know what is there.
Usually this is were you link your auto menu level changes.

looking at the operator display with a check open on the traminal will show the active main and sub level. Knowing the active levels and when they change may help you in troubleshooting this issue.

Many things can affect this... Menu item levels can be programmed to change the active level (pop to main/sub level) and sometimes the use of the main and sub level functions get crossed.
