Anybody run into this one..
Using a cke3 upgraded to 7.0142 and analog ckt packs
w/ HFIA sets...when using the IC to call another station the responding voice cuts out and the IC hangs up.
No particular station set is the culprit.
We have replaced the 4x8 cp with no success. The PS is A3.
Any ideas???thanks in advance.

if you are refering to Analog as ATL instead of Tip/ring...(why did AT&T ever do that for anyway, call a hybrid card that uses merlin phones Analog...merlinman???)...there is the BIS/HFAI option under extensions, where you would include your BIS/HFAI phones in there to be able to use HFAI. And that is another question, why is that option still in the Magix software?

its a ATL pack....the stations are programed for BIS/HFAI.
the problem is that when a caller uses the IC to talk with
the other station...the voice cuts out and the IC drops.
Yes the HFAI button is on the called set.
any ideas???

When upgrading to a release 7 Legend you must have at least a CKE4 processor. I ran into similar problems when trying an upgrade like this a few years ago. The older ATL packs will not work correctly on a release 7. The problems are sporatic. The term unsupported by Avaya (Lucent at the time) means it may or may not work.

I think a processor change from r7 to r3 or 4 might work.
I have had no trouble in the past with the upgraded cke3's.
However this customer uses the IC/HF feature more than most. this might be a clue....I'll post the results.
thanks for your input.
