Hey: We are using Call Pilot release 1.07. I have and Option 61 PBX. I had an employee ask if it would be possible to remotely set their phone to forwarding when they were out of the office because they forget sometimes.

Look in your software features guide for how to set up remote call forward. This is on the PBX, independent of the Call Pilot.

Ok, so even after I set the actual phone up with remote call forward.....I not sure if this is what I want. I just want to know if there is an access code to enter when you are off-site, so you may activate the Forwarding Feature. In this case just forwarding to voice mail. Not off Prim.

Thanks

The way you can do this, although I DO NOT ADVISE USING IT BECAUSE OF SECURITY RISKS, is to use DISA[1], and then FFC's[2] to remote call forward a persons phone. It is however usually easier to ring a collegue and ask them to do it !

[1] Direct Inward System Access (LD 24)
[2] Flexible Feature Codes (LD 57)
