Hey, maybe someone has seen this before. When I push out packages to clients, only half of the collection of clients received the package. I figured out that this is because some of the “clients” listed in the collection removed themselves. They were no longer clients. Now when I try to install the client on the machines again, it gives me an error saying that it has installed the client but has not found a site server to manage it. Once the client is installed again, it works fine, except when I tried to push the scan tool from the Feature Pack to it. It gives me an error saying that the client cannot find the mssecure.xml database!? All the other clients are finding it. I’m not sure.

How are you installing the client? SMSMan.exe?

Are the clients in the correct subnet? Can the clients reach their logon point? Rod Trent

Initially I installed all the clients by Remote Client Install. All of the clients that did not get the client because of them being remote or whatever, I ran the smsman.exe on them. Everything was fine. Then ever since I installed the HRP (Hotfix Rollup Package) I've been having problems ever since. Everyone is in the correct subnet and all the clients can reach the logon point.
