Hey guys, I am trying to use Xcacls to change a few permission entries on computer startups. Is this possible to have running as a startup script even if the user is just a standard user? Any there anyways I can give this script the option to use a higher powered account so it will run and change the permissions?

Thanks

If you wanted to elevate permissions you would need to use something like runas or perhaps
I believe that if you assign it as a logon script for the comptuer through a GPO it will also run with elevated credentials.

Are the permissions being changed for a folder/file on the local PC or network?

Trying to run a login script to update permissions on 1 folder on 150 PC's on your network.

Not sure xcacls will work since I believe that script has to be copied to those local boxes..
