My computer has installed windows 2000 profesional. The computer internet connection was working ok, however it was not in a workgroup. To include the computer in a work group what I did was to reinstalled networkcard and tcp/ip protocols (keeping same setup), I also rename the workgroup. After that, the intranet was ok, but I can not access internet. I can ping computer in my workgroup but I cannot access internet. Help!!!

How was/is your machine connected to internet? (eg, direct connection to this PC like dial-up or broadband via ethernet or USB) or is it via a LAN. If the second, you've probably upset the settings by reinstalling networking (If it is LAN, is it via a router or a machine running ICS)?
