our company just switched over to a new ISP. our web server worked right up until we switched it over. absolutely nothing was changed except for the new webserver ip address and the new default gateway ip address. and i know that these are correct. we have one router (our default gateway)that is connected to the outside world. two machines are connected to the router thru a hub, our proxy server and our web server. everything else is behind our proxy server/firewall. so the webserver is not behind the proxy. however, no one in the outside world can get to our site, but people inside of our network can. the only`change that has been made in between it working and not working was the ip address of the web server machine and the default gateway. and yes, we have already specified to the hostmaster that <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> should point to the new ip. and they say it is all set from their end! if anyone has any idea i would greatly appreciate it! thank u!

here is a suggestion<br>maybe the problem is with the firewall?

the webserver is not behind the firewall. an the only thuing that changed was the ip address.

I did a whois on the address you supplied above (<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> and it returned no match. What is the IP address of your web server? If I can surf to your web site, via the IP then it is definitly a name resolution problem. <p>John Vogel<br><a href=mailto:johnvogel@homepage.com>johnvogel@homepage.com</a><br><a href= FreeDSL Service</a><br>[To a get FREE DSL Modem WITH FREE DSL Unlimited Internet Connection click the above link :)]

When you changed ISP's, and addresses, did you have the DNS entry for you site changed too?&nbsp;&nbsp; Can folks outside access it by IP Address rather tan its &quot;dot com&quot; name?
