help with unix and windows

Hi,
I have 2 indys and 1 external hd connected to one of my indy boxes, i'd like to copy the external hd file system to my w2k3 server because i'm afraid of the external hd crashing. Can someone point me in the right direction on where to get started? I have very little Unix experience.

Do you mean to copy the file system or just the files?

hi,
i just need to copy our CAD files and not the system files.
I've setup SFU and i can see my indy drive and files thru "my network places" but i'm unable to access them or copy them. I get "access denied" error.
also, from Indy I can mount the w2k3 share but can't see any files.
any ideas? I haven't mapped users and I'm not sure how to get my users file from indy to windows. I don't even know what file it is on Unix?
